Hands Free Landlording For Millions (shortened to HFLL for most of the site) is intended for soon to be landlords and those that have been doing it for years and are looking for ways to improve their business.
We are about to dive head in first to a huge endovor. Some of you will be considering how to get started in landlording while others are trying to figure out how to dig them selves out of the situation they have created. I’m sure that everyone who picks up this book will find it incredibly valuable. It represents many years of effort, experience and help from many incredible landlords and friends. I pray that it helps you and blesses you and your family and friends.
We are going to go through the 6 steps to successful landlording. We will give you a solid foundation in each step so that you can understand what it is and how to make it yours. No two landlords do things exactly the same way and there is very little black and white in landlording.
1) Build your foundation on solid stone
2) Design your lease and business systems
3) Train your team
4) Filling your vacancies and maintenance
5) Keeping those good tenants
6) Removing bad tenants
After that we are going to help you with your business plan and talk about day to day business activities and how to grow your company without you having to constantly be there. The goal is to spend as little time as possible working in your business. For many landlords the goal is to spend less then 4 hours per week to maintain their empire. If you want to make millions in the business then you have to build it with spending as little time in it as possible. You do this by maximizing the time you spend on the business early on. You are in effect creating a life long revenue stream, and if you ignore the advice in this book, you may be creating a life long stream of work and stress that gets handed down to the next generation. The option is up to you about what you want your legacy to be. We hope to help you hand down a legacy of success and wealth that will span generations and if you or your future generations prefer something else then to have a business that they can sell for a profit, not a discount. In general, if you follow the advice in this book, you will be able to create cash flow and spin off parts of your business that you can easly sell for huge paydays.
If you are a student, then we want to get you from student to business owner and then quickly to successful business owner. It is really easier than it sounds, but if you aren’t following the right path it will be much harder than it has to be. We say this because we have gone though all the training, and mistakes, and hours trying to learn to do it right without spending more money than we had, and sometimes we have spend more money than we had and our hope is to help save you from that.
In this book we are trying to compress hundreds of books, a Masters degree in business and generations of honest experience. This is a No BS book on how to be successful. We had to put a lot of information into a few pages (300 or 500 pages) because the book would be too heavy to print and ship. There will be questions, and don’t be scared to ask them. We are here for you, and if you prefer search out other experts. Check out SCORE coachs in your are
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash”, Matthew 7:24-27, New International Version (NIV)
